Meet Dr. Rachel
Dr. Rachel O’Connor was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona. After several years working in the medical field as a pharmacy technician, she decided to return to school and completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University. Dr. O’Connor acquired unique experience through her years at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Her service to our veterans and their families has provided her with special compassion to those that have honorably served this great country.
Dr. O’Connor was selected in the 2017, “20 Under 40” for “making a significant contribution to Flagstaff through work and service in providing the most innovative podiatric care to her patients.” by the Arizona Daily Sun. Dr. O’Connor serves as the Clinical Director for Fit Feet, Special Olympics in Northern Arizona. Lastly, she organizes an annual holiday sock drive that supports the Sunshine Recue Mission.
As the wife of a veteran, and mother of two young children, she understands the health care needs of our families. Outside the office, Dr. O’Connor enjoys hiking in Flagstaff with her Giant Alaskan Malamute named Shadow, traveling, and experiencing everything Northern Arizona has to offer
